A Bit on Flower Wine What is Flower Wine?

As the name suggests, flower wine is predominantly crafted from flowers. The fermentable sugars come from flower nectar and the flavor from the petals. To create nicely balanced and full-bodied flower wines, some spices and/or herbs (still all parts of the flower) are added in minor quantities.

FlorVino's award-winning flower wines are crafted from Texas' wildflower nectar and flowers with cultural relevance to our region. The formulas have been developed by some of the top flower wine makers in the world to ensure we only bring you the very best flavors and tastes.

FlorVino also brings the finest award-winning flower wines from the Spirit Hills Winery located in the foothills of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Spirit Hills’ flower wines have been served in some of the top fine dining restaurants in the world.

Winery Tours

FlorVino also offers unique on-location winery tours to show the flower wine making process. Guests travel via video or animation into the fields to harvest flower nectar and petals, and return to the wine cellar where they transform these ingredients into the final product. These entertaining and educational tours are organized at certain dates at Hotel Gibbs.
